About the Job:
Door Tech LLC is looking for a dependable part-time Z-Bar Operator to produce aluminum Z-Bar components used in our storm doors. This is a hands-on, repetitive production role that requires consistent pace, careful quality checks, and dependable attendance.
Training is provided on Door Tech’s equipment, work instructions, and quality expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the designated equipment used to process Z-Bar components.
- Follow production paperwork and work instructions.
- Check parts for correct dimensions and workmanship.
- Keep material moving through the process and stage completed parts as directed.
- Identify and separate questionable or out-of-spec parts.
- Record completed quantities and report material or equipment problems.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Good attention to detail and a steady production pace.
- Ability to use basic measuring tools.
- Previous manufacturing, machine-operator, or aluminum-fabrication experience is helpful but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Schedule:
- Permanent, year-round part-time position.
- Approximately 25–27 hours per week on a consistent weekday daytime schedule.
- Exact days and hours will be discussed during the interview.
What success looks like: Z-Bar is produced at the expected pace, meets the quality standard, and is ready for the next production step.
