About the Job:
Door Tech LLC is looking for a dependable part-time Door Processing Operator to prepare aluminum doors for the next steps in production. The work includes processing doors to the order and work-instruction requirements, with a slotting operation needed on some doors.
This is a hands-on production role where accuracy, consistent pace, and following the correct work instructions matter.
Responsibilities:
- Process doors using the designated equipment and work instructions.
- Confirm the correct door and production information before processing.
- Perform the slotting operation when required.
- Check processed doors for accuracy and workmanship.
- Stop and separate questionable work rather than passing defects to the next station.
- Record completed quantities and report equipment or material issues.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow production paperwork and work instructions.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain a steady pace.
- Comfortable learning and operating production equipment.
- Previous manufacturing or machine-operator experience is helpful but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Schedule:
- Permanent, year-round part-time position.
- Approximately 13–15 hours per week on a consistent weekday daytime schedule.
- Exact days and hours will be discussed during the interview.
What success looks like: Doors are processed accurately, slotting is completed when required, and questionable work is identified before it reaches the next station.
